CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
1. Any alterations, changes, adjustments or repairs made by anyone other than qualified Link Mechanical Srevices, Inc. (LMSI) personnel will terminate our obligation under this membership.
2. Repairs required, due to fire, flood, power failure, bad weather, acts of God or improper use are not covered by this membership.
3. This membership does not extend to changes in work required by future govermental or insurance regulations, including refrigerant handling regulations.
4. Damage to property from any of the following causes is not covered by this membership: condensate leaks, frozen or cracked pipes and/or coils, fire, or the inability of the system to heat or cool the space it serves.
5. This membership does not apply to external power or control wiring, circuit breakers or disconnect switches supplying power to the system.
6. This membership does not cover ductwork, duct cleaning, indoor air quality, structural supports or system sheet metal components.
7. Repairs quoted prior to the effective date and acceptance by LMSI of this memebrship are exempt from coverage.
8. LMSI will not replace equipment/systems at its expense. We will replace equipment/systems only with your prior approval. If it is determined by LMSI that proper parts are not available and or the repair will not provide proper and safe operation, you will be quoted a equipment/system replacement option. A discount of 1.5 times your annual membership price will be deducted from the final bill of any equipment/system that LMSI replaces. This discount does not apply towards work provided by another contractor.
9. Link Mechanical Services, Inc. (LMSI) will guarantee a 48 hour response time for all emergency service calls. Heating Emergency is defined as a "No Heat" situation when the average outdoor air temperature is below 32 degrees F. Cooling Emergency is defined as a "No Cooling" situation when the average outdoor air temperature is above 94 degrees F.
10. For non emergency service calls performed after normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-6;00PM), a $50.00 fee will be charged. For any non emergency service calls performed on a Holiday, a $75.00 fee will be charged.
